Defective Codes
For all code issues, your contact is: support@mmocodes.com. Please take the time to follow these instructions before making contact.
If you get an error that tells you a code is invalid, or has already been used, please check to make sure that you are entering the code in the proper location. Entering an upgrade code in a game time location will give an error that it is not valid or has already been used. This goes for all code entries if you do not enter them in the proper location.
Make sure you are copying and pasting the code from the original we sent you. When you paste the code, make sure that there are no spaces before or after the code. If, for some reason, you must enter the code in manually, be aware that these codes normally do not contain one (1) or zero (0). They are the letters "I" and "O".
If your code is still not working, please email support@mmocodes.com with a copy of the non-working code. Some of our codes are manually typed in and have an average error rate of less than 3/10th of 1%. We will compare your code with the original. If a typo is found, we will provide you with the corrected code. Some of the codes we deal with are exempt from typos as we receive them electronically from the manufacturer. Exempt codes are as follows: Ultima Online Game Time, Ultima Online gift codes, Ultima Online name change, gender change and advanced character token codes, and EvE Online Game Time.
If the code entry page still gives you an error, please contact the game manufacturer. We can guarantee that the code is new and that it has never been used before. We do not have the ability to check with the manufacturer on your behalf as they always want to speak with the owner of the account for security reasons. If the game company requires proof of the game code, we can email or fax a copy of the code to you. If the game company requires you to fax the code to them, we will happily send the code to the company on your behalf.
In the event that the issue is still unresolved, we will send you the original game card or code via postal mail so that you can continue to work with the manufacturer of the game directly.
Code resellers: The most common issues with resellers is customer scammers and duplicate codes. If you are reselling codes for Gold / ISK / Credits or other in-game currency, and a customer tells you that a code is already in use, please make sure that you did not accidentally send the code to two customers. This is a common issue and we take a lot of extra effort to make sure that there are no issues with codes. We have very strict guidelines to make sure we never send out a duplicate code or a code that has been seen by another customer.
If you have verified that you did not accidentally send out the code twice we will provide you a photograph or fax of the original so that you may work with your customer. We recommend using a policy similar to ours. Please don't copy the above policies verbatim, but feel free to use our policy as an example when writing your own.
If you are doing a high volume of code sales and would like some help with dealing with scammers, or with processes to make sure that you are not sending out duplicates, feel free to contact us. We are very willing to help you out.
